For the past eight consecutive years, the Design & Innovation Award has honoured innovative and ground-breaking products in the bike sector. To win the award, candidates must complete thousands of kilometres of test runs and convince a jury who imposes strict standards. No other award uses real product testing or applies such a holistic assessment method.

The Women’s Carve Hip-Hugger Shorts by iXS set the new benchmark for comfort, functionality, and range of movement in women’s MTB riding apparel. iXS has replaced buttons and Velcro fasteners with an elastic waistband, ensuring these shorts fit snug around the waist. The upper section of the Hip-Hugger Shorts clings to the body very nicely, like yoga pants, and the rear panel rounds the design off superbly – so it’s goodbye forever to pressure points! Integrated pockets with functional details such as a special pocket for lift tickets, and an overall modern look, results in a product that surely appeals and caters to women who live and lead an active lifestyle.
Moreover, these shorts are manufactured from recycled PET fabrics in combination with elastic fibres, allowing for these shorts to be highly breathable and stretchy, while also considering environmental sustainability.
